Learing all the recipes in Sims 3

I made a new Sim her name is Coral Clementine. I wanted to make a sim that had a hint of berry sweet.

Coral Clementine's life time wish was to be "The Culinary Librarian". To do this she needed to learn all recipes. Normally when I play I have my sims cook everyday and from cooking they sometimes advance a few cooking skills points.  Their daily menus consisted of pancakes, grilled cheese and pre made foods like jelly toast.

It was different and fun to learn new recipes and have options for her meals. It took Coral 16 days to complete her life time wish of knowing all recipes. Although I wonder if this is a glitch in my game because when you click on her skill journal it says 98% of Recipes Known.

This is how she did it; Coral would visit the public library and read cooking books daily. She joined the Culinary Career and practiced cooking while on the job. I would suggest trying your best to get promotions at work  and save your money to buy recipe books because they can be very expensive. Also wait for discount days at the book store I was able to snag 40% off higher level skill recipe books by going to the book store on a sale day.

Ouch She cut her finger..

Meadows Legacy

I made a new sim her name is Summer Meadows she is eccentric and loves the outdoors. I was excited to use ear sliders to give her pointed large elf like ears. I think it is cute on her and adds something different to the game.


Something about red hair and freckles that I love! It gives me a flash back to Dean, he was one of my favorite sims.


I was looking for a nice custom world for Summer to start her legacy. I thought a town like Sunset Valley would fit her personality it is sunny with a beach but Sunset Valley can be so limiting. I have all the Sims expansion packs and wanted to take advantage of all the new features in game. Because Sunset Valley is outdated.

I went on a search to find the perfect world for Summer. I am happy with my choice so far.

Summer now lives in TARAMA it is a beautiful island. It is sunny and tropical with all the attractions Summer would want and need. I think its a nice blend between a large world and a world like Sunset Valley. It runs well for me so far and is so pretty. So you will be seeing lots more of this world since this is the beginning of the Meadows legacy!


So this is Summer's first fixer-upper home. It needs lots of work, love and simoleons. :) This is actually the way the house came, the previous owners left it in a bad condition.
